5 avondroutines voor een vlotte start

Niet iedereen begint zijn dag vol energie en enthousiasme.
Sommige mensen hebben moeite om zich elke dag in gang te trekken. In dit artikel vind je wat ideetjes om met meer plezier aan je dag te beginnen.

Avond routine…

Sommige gewoontes tijdens de avond zorgen ervoor dat je ‘s morgens niet fit kan starten.
Bepaalde routines hebben een invloed op je slaap en dat heeft dan weer een gevolg voor de manier waarop je wakker wordt.

1. Op tijd naar bed

Als je elke avond te laat gaat slapen, ben je ‘s morgens niet echt uitgeslapen en begin je humeurig aan je ochtend.

Probeer op een vast en redelijk tijdstip naar bed te gaan.
Als je dit een tijdje volhoudt, zal je zeker verbetering zien in je ochtendstart.

2. Avondlijke snacks en drankjes

De meesten mensen eten pas ‘s avonds hun hoofdmaaltijd. Meestal grijpen we nadien nog naar een verleidelijke snack (zoals chips, koekjes of ijs) of we drinken ‘s avonds laat nog een lekkere koffie.

Het is verleidelijk om ‘s avond voor je televisie nog een snack te eten, maar deze gewoonte zorgt ervoor dat onze slaapkwaliteit vermindert.

Probeer om ‘s avons laat enkel nog water te drinken en vermijd zware, vette of zoete snacks.

3. Zorg voor voldoende beweging

Soms slapen we niet goed omdat we overdag niet voldoende beweging hebben gehad. Als je overdag niet echt aan de nodige beweging toekomt, probeer dan ‘s avonds wat tijd te maken voor een korte wandeling.
Dit verbetert niet alle je spijvertering maar zal ook bijdragen tot een beter slaappatroon.

4. Ontspan voor je gaat slapen

Doe iets wat weinig stimulerend is voor je gaat slapen. Kijken naar een horror-film is geen goed idée.
Leg een boek op je nachtkastje.
Luister naar rustige muziek op je mp3-speler.

5. Leg alles klaar voor de volgende dag

Een van de redenen waarom men ‘s morgens gestresseerd aan de dag begint, is dat men allerlei dingen moet doen, voor men kan vertrekken.
Lunchdozen klaarmaken, turnkledij voor de kinderen inpakken, afwasmachine leeg maken, schoolagenda’s tekenen, boodschappenlijstjes klaarmaken voor de boodschappen na de werkdag, ….

Probeer deze kleine taken zoveel mogelijk af te werken vóór je gaat slapen.
Zo ben je beter voorbereid en begin je meer ontspannen aan de komende dag.

Als je geen ochtendmens bent, kunnen deze kleine tips je ochtenden misschien iets aangenamer maken.
